Patrick Pfister is the author of two books of travel literature: Pilgrimage: Tales from the Open Road and Over Sand & Sea. His work has been selected for several Travelers’ Tales anthologies, including Best Travel Writing 2007. His short stories have appeared in numerous literary journals, such as Bellevue Literary Review, Fifth Wednesday Journal and Alimentum. He is the scriptwriter (with Fara González) and assistant director of the documentary film, “Expect a Miracle,” which premiered in Spain and India in 2011, and was awarded “Best Foreign Film” at the Beverly Hills Film Festival. Currently, he is at work on a documentary film about Michigan’s legendary poetry venue, The Stone Circle. For the last twenty-five years he has lived in Barcelona, Spain.
