As above, so below.
The Milky Way overhead

and underfoot,
tracks of stars and blisters
speckled by dirt and fate.

Long earth journey
through place names and pain,
through Navarran forests
and the Meseta’s flame.

A carpet of rice and rose petals,
a marriage of feet and way;
dust ascends to a sapphire path.

As above, so below.
Ache and wonder,
yearning and joy.
Walk, eat, sleep, pray.
A wild place calls.
