From the Artist:

Although I never received formal training in the visual arts, I have always maintained a strong commitment to the creative process. Throughout high school, I experimented with many diverse mediums, ranging from sculpture to painting to photography. I would say, however, that my experiences at Stanford studying Computer Science proved formative in the development of my style.

Technology drives artists to experiment with and utilize new mediums for expression. My acquaintance with computers has only served to increase my appreciation for the more human dimensions of art. In a world where computers continue to become more and more adept at replicating, I seek inspiration in the augmentation of reality, in the world perceived through the uniqueness of the artist’s eye. My sculpture, painting, graphic design and now clothing line demonstrate this fascination, particularly in their use of highlighted borders and emboldened lines.

I would characterize my work as energetic, perhaps even child-like (with the occasional flair of Japanese anime). I revel in exaggeration, in the definition and drama residing in liminal space.
